Battle of the Kizhe Generals

A clerical mistake - instead of “second lieutenant” the clerk wrote “second lieutenant Kizhe” gave birth to a virtual creature in the bureaucratic empire - second lieutenant Kizhe. Then he rose to the rank of general. This was 200 years ago. Nowadays technology has come a long way. It was hardly someone’s “mistake,” but one way or another, two parties arose - United Russia and another one, with some name so complicated that you can’t pronounce it.

Today the main political news in Russia: the struggle of United Russia against the party of “lovers of LIFE”, the struggle of Gryzlov against Mironov.

And it’s not even interesting that such... peculiar politicians and such... peculiar parties are fighting.

It’s interesting that SUCH a struggle (= political life) does not surprise or confuse anyone. People just don't understand how FUCKING FUNNY this is. No! Now THIS is the norm of life in Russia.

As are the “lovers of LIFE,” so is life; so is EP, so is R. Society is quite worthy of its current (and future) chosen ones. This is what democracy is. Apparently...

As you know, Swift described the struggle of the “blunt-pointed” against the “sharp-pointed”. He thought it was very witty. Life is funnier: the struggle of stupid people - against... stupid people. And no one laughs. Is the whole country stupid? Is it just that the whole society is stupid? Or do they just not notice anything anymore? “Who cares”... Probably so.

How and why life “emerged” in our climate is not difficult to understand.

Duma elections are just around the corner. Ambitious people who for some reason (well, at least for business) want to go there have not yet disappeared. How will you get through?

Go to the “zhirik”? Why is he bad? What a waste?! No, what kind of tenderness there is, given our poverty... That’s not the point. Everything is simpler - how many “zhiriks” will get into the Duma (if at all)?

So this is not the way. Communist Party of the Russian Federation? You should not get involved - your boss may not approve of this option.

EP is understandable. But it’s not rubber! All deputies from United Russia (309 copies), or at least the overwhelming majority of them, want (or will be ordered to go) to the State Duma-5. So the chances of getting a mandate by being at the tail of such a queue are zero.

It is quite clear that - out of pure humanism! – it is necessary to open a “second window” for the nomenklatura wishing to join the Duma. Or, more precisely, launch a “second escalator” for this crowd.

So the reasons for the possible interest of “nomenklatura Russia-2” in the party of lovers of LIFE are obvious. If there is no mechanism for the rotation of elites through internal selection and competition, then an extensive mechanism comes into play - it is necessary to expand the nomenclature clearing.

But the party arose, obviously, not in response to the “request of the nomenklatura” - civil society, even at this level we do not have.

The second party in power, “Kizhe-2,” arose, as everyone knows, in the course of a very real struggle at the very top, about which much has been written, incl. in "Hedgehog". To be honest, I wouldn’t rush into gloomy forecasts regarding the fate of V. Surkov - he is too experienced a fighter... But that’s not the point.

So, the nomenklatura “bottoms” and “tops” have found each other: “the ones at the back want it too,” and in one Kremlin tower they are quickly gathering a militia in view of the upcoming “battle for the pie” - tower to tower.

So everything about bipartisanship is clear.

The problem is different: the two-headed mutant does not fly.

The governor, receiving instructions to support the party in power, carries out the order. A governor who receives orders to support TWO parties in power, “to support their struggle,” must be a schizophrenic (or a genius) in order to carry out this order. What should a normal governor do? Lean towards one party or the other? Get sick during the elections? Let go of the reins altogether? Still, “support two”? Taking turns, perhaps – on “even sections” and on “odd” ones? Or on even and odd days?

An administrative resource divided into itself is a broken (fractured) resource.

The Kremlin understands this very well - not children! The collision of the “twin towers” ​​frightens the inhabitants of both towers. But the tasks of clan struggle are more important. And sharper. No one wants to fight “to the end,” but no one wants to be the first to retreat. And the boss prefers to hover above the fray.

In general, I think that Kremlin strategists are confident that the “electoral flows” are under control. And they believe that all this intraspecific struggle spilling out will not rock the boat. Nothing... They brought the voter to such a state that Bolivar would blow away even two - he (our Bolivar) is still lying around and dozing. So what difference does it make to him, lying down and snoring, how many parties will sit on his backbone? Well, two... Well, one and a half... Love LIFE! Love Russia too! Love “LIFE in Russia” - there is a prospect for a grand coalition!

In connection with the elections, there is another topic - “the issue of Ryzhkov.”

The possible unification of the Union of Rightist Forces and the Republican Party is an interesting move.

If the merger takes place.

If Ryzhkov leads the party.

If “customs gives the go-ahead.”

Then these reasonable-moderate oppositionists have a good chance to get into the Duma. By the way – on the shoulders of “The Other Russia”.

“Others” gave a starting point - here they are, irreconcilable. The conversation with them is short. “And a short conversation with the priest and the fist - into the thick belly with a bayonet of the world-eater!”

But if it’s clear with the “Bolsheviks,” then there are also “Mensheviks.”

They don’t indulge in subversive slogans. But there is an undoubted opposition. With an undoubted reputation - both in the West and on Echo. Sane liberals.

Damn it! If in 2003 the Kremlin had a “Motherland” project, why not support the “liberal project” now?

This is not to brand “strikebreakers” and “conciliators” with shame.

I myself am “moderately reconciled” - I appreciate such people. To me, as a voter: a) it is clear that if they are allowed on air, it means they have an agreement with the Kremlin; b) the nature of the agreement is deeply indifferent; c) I would still like to see “normal people” and “normal parties” get into the Duma at the cost of these agreements. They certainly won't make it any worse. Is it better? Who knows... What if?!

Yes. They have a chance to get through. The incredible sadness of the politics of 2003-2006 will work on them. The people are so tired of this tediousness that any “fresh force” has a chance to attract the attention of the “Narzan-weary” voter. And it’s good if this chance falls not to DPNI, but to a normal right-wing party.

This is also useful for society. And it’s safe for the authorities - again, we need to let off steam. And they are, as verified, “negotiable” people.

There is only one question: will the Kremlin bulldogs, absorbed in their endless fights under the oil and gas pipeline, forget about all this?
