Instead of Posner

The founders of the Academy of Russian Television approved Mikhail Shvydkoy as president. Shvydkoy replaced Vladimir Pozner, who withdrew his candidacy from the vote on October 23. At the same time, a meeting of academy members recommended that the board of founders elect Shvydkoy as president. Shvydkoy intends to act as a negotiator to resolve the situation within the academy in order to return the NTV holding to it, prevent VGTRK from leaving the academy, and normalize relations between the founders and academicians.
