Spring came, football resumed and bananas flew in our stadiums again. Even the term such a “banana” appeared.

Last season, when this fashion appeared, the great Roberto Carlos became the Pioneer. His transition to Anji became a truly world sensation, caused a stir among fans, but at the opening match of the championship in St. Petersburg, when Carlos participated in the ceremony of raising the Russian flag, a fool handed him a banana. The noisy story, as usual, is not over. The Zenit club for the behavior of his fan, in fact, was not punished. The “banana” himself was not found. More precisely, a strange thing came out: the club said that the person was established, but they did not want to announce his name that the citizen was punished - but how exactly they would not say. In short, everyone understood this correctly: they did not find anyone and did not punish.

Soon, Banana Roberto Carlos was no longer just shown - but threw it into him. It happened in Samara. Carlos left the field in disorder, the public supported him, but the investigation immediately came to a dead end, and everyone was convinced at least in two things: nationalism and racism in Russia are non-punishable, and our police can do something only if there is its personal interest in this.

However, last week Samara history received a sudden not just a continuation, but a completion. And one of the conclusions mentioned above had to question. Samara police searches did not stop. They also turned out to be in some way fans and something like the honor of the uniform leaped in them. And a miracle happened! Fruit thrower was found. And they said that his name was Vyacheslav Prokhorov. And Prokhorov admitted everything, recorded a video, gave an interview. True, there was no repentance as such. Metal, they say, I am, but I do not consider myself a racist, I didn’t want to offend anyone, but simply did not cope with the nerves. He ate two bananas with a friend on the rostrum, and threw the third with chagrin that the team played poorly. True, he threw, for some reason not in his players, but in strangers, and specifically in Carlos. Nevertheless.

And although all over the world, and with you, everyone who is at least somehow following sports is known that throwing bananas is a direct racist gesture, law enforcement agencies spread their hands and informed: to find-they found, but we can’t punish-not for anything. “Wings of the Soviets” now think about recovering at least 300 thousand rubles from Prokhorov, for which they were fined then.

And maybe for a simple Samara guy such a huge amount would become a really terrible punishment. But for everyone else, this has become a completely different sign: if you throw a banana into the Negro on the field and even if you find you, it will be impossible to punish you! And literally right there, in the match of the nearest round, another Anji player Christopher Samba, who first performed in front of the Moscow public, received a banana! Moreover, they threw it not just from the rostrum-but from the VIP sector!

That is, such an open bravada. The investigation has just begun, although some oddities are already present. Lokomotiv is one of the most modern stadiums in Russia, with a good video surveillance system. However, they say that the records are provided from all cameras except those that stood in the place of the incident. Why is it unknown. But if simple bananas can be found in exceptional cases, then it is apparently unrealistic to charge the capital's VIP-racist. And what accusation to be charged if there was nothing to be “for” the Samarita who has confessed to everything. In general, snowfall replaces, a banana fall comes. I would like to make a mistake, but poor forecasts come true much more often than good ones.
