It would seem that a couple of years ago, Rodnyansky had already stepped on similar rake, trying to create a daily “non -political” project for STS for Leonid Parfenov, who was fired with NTV. It turned out that it turned out that decisions on the launch of such “entertainment” television projects are made not by the top managers of television companies like Rodnyansky and not even their shareholders, which in this case are Aven, Friedman and other leaders of Alpha Groups, and much higher.
One of the leaders of the consortium then even specially went to the Kremlin to ask the deputy head of the presidential administration of permission to launch Parfenov on the air, but the highest permission was not obtained. And no matter how hard Rodnyansky tried to present the situation as exclusively as an “internal television business”, they say, “they could not find a format,” but everyone knew the true background of the ban in professional circles. That is why the current decision on the appearance of the “home” Sorokina and Venediktov, journalists (in the perception of the Kremlin and the same shareholders) even less glamorous and “home” than Parthenes looked rather strange.
The head of the STS Media, Alexander Rodnyansky, moved to Moscow from Ukraine several years ago, where the 1+1 channel, which he is a co -owner, was considered the flagship of completely politicized television for many years. “1+1” was even called “Ukrainian NTV” (in the old understanding) and the role of this channel and its creator and owner in the political life of a neighboring country were always great.
Rodnyansky was traveling to Russia with other goals. Having headed the channel, and then the holding, which, even before his appearance, was conceived as the “first entertaining”, a talented television strategist Rodnyansky, over the past four years, made the idea of deliberately non -political television almost the most popular in the country. In numerous public performances and on the air of STS, Rodnyansky successfully promoted and promotes the idea of television of private values. A kind of dream factory, creating television tales for adults, modeling the image of not a real, but an invented country, which you will not see from the window of your own home, a country in which I would like to live.
The second of the STS Media structure, the Home Channel even more narrowed the initially given television space and offered the orientation not even to the perfect country, but to the perfect house as its own fortress.
In private conversations, Rodnyansky repeatedly said that the path of relations between television and power from love to hatred and in the opposite direction, he already passed in Ukraine and he did not want to repeat himself. In Ukraine, the 1+1 channel once led to the power of President Kuchma, then forcedly stood on the side of the then power at the beginning of the Orange Revolution, after the Maidan, with the lips of Rodnyansky himself, made loud statements that he now refused half -truths and defaults (thereby recognizing that he had hidden and diminished) ...
Rodnyansky - Ukrainian TV owner has passed his path of relations with the authorities. Rodnyansky-a Russian television top manager, it would seem, intentionally dodged this path. And he began to engage in television, far from politics. Yes, here's the bad luck - the old truth became clear again: if you are not engaged in politics, politics is engaged in you.
Perhaps there are countries in which this truth does not work, but Russia clearly does not apply to such countries. And in addition to strictly entertaining television, there are ineffective interests of the owners of this television, which directly depend on politics. That is, probably, the president of the media holding distance, citizen of another country Alexander Rodnyansky, was sitting during the quite political message from the President of Russia by the Federal Assembly in the Kremlin. That is why you have to put the program of two famous people on the air not on STS, but on the "home". That is why you have to close it after the first mention on the air of words and ideas, a little more far from the kitchen than the interests of shareholders allow.
The idea of a house as a place where they not only sew and drink, but even at least occasionally think about what is happening around, on the “Home” channel in its current form clearly failed. Further, purely technical explanations about the inconsistency of radio and television formats and about other features of television as a business, which did not allow the program “In the Circle of Light”, will clearly follow. And, I sincerely believe, all these explanations will one way or another will correspond to the truth. But still, the main reason for the closure of the program lies in the truth of another: in Russia in 2006, even deliberately non -political television completely depends on politics.
