Levada Center conducted an interesting survey about the presidential elections. So: if Putin runs for a third term, 34% will vote for him. In elections without Putin's participation, Dmitry Medvedev and Sergei Ivanov are leading by a margin, and Medvedev retains his advantage. If these candidates do not exist, then the people simply do not know who to vote for: in this case, 53% find it difficult, and 22% simply will not go to the polls. If Putin does not go to the polls, then 38% of respondents are ready to vote for a “successor”.
