Supporters of Alexei Navalny gathered in Kirov, one can consider it in vain (except for the very fact of arrival, which, presumably, provided the oppositionist with some moral support) - a meeting of the Leninsky court in the case of embezzlement of funds from the Kirovles enterprise, in which Navalny and entrepreneur Petr Ofitserov, was postponed to April 24.
At the hearing on April 17, Judge Sergei Blinov only had time to listen to the motion of the defense, which asked to postpone the trial for a month because there was not enough time to familiarize itself with the case. The judge did not provide a month, limiting himself to a week. Now the defense will again seek to transfer the consideration of the case to Moscow - the first time it was refused.
In particular, the co-chairman of RPR-PARNAS Boris Nemtsov, the editor-in-chief of the Daily Journal Alexander Ryklin, and the editor-in-chief of The New Times Evgenia Albats came to Kirov to support Navalny. Only about 70 journalists were able to enter the hall, and about 200 more were not allowed in under the pretext that there were not enough seats in the hall.
