The basis for the refusal was a point in the NBP party program, which states “the protection of the rights of Russian citizens abroad.” Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice did not disseminate an official message about the refusal of registration. The Limonovites do not agree with the ministry’s decision and intend to challenge it in the Supreme Court of Russia. However, even in case of failure, the NBP intends to continue its activities without official registration and declares that it will participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
