Drunk

The Tula Garrison Military Court began consideration of the merits of the criminal case of the former head of the special department of the 106th Airborne Division, FSB Colonel Sergei Stolba. The trial began now, but the scandal occurred back in 2005: a drunken Colonel Stolba shot and killed a conscript soldier, Denis Zharikov, in his own office. He didn’t seem to shoot intentionally, it just occurred to the colonel to call soldiers to his place at night and start firing from his service weapon. Today the charges were announced, Stoba only partially admitted his guilt.
