What this slogan means in practice was wonderfully illustrated on Monday. The Central Bank allocated a billion rubles to Rotenberg’s SMP Bank. Otherwise, unpatriotic depositors and organizations, for some unknown reason, took already $250 million from the bank after the imposition of sanctions. But such a glorious institution cannot be allowed to perish.
