In the article “Left Turn-2”, published in Kommersant, the ex-head of Yukos describes the crisis that awaits Russia even before 2008. “We need that left turn. To overcome the pathological, cosmic alienation between the elites and the people, the government and those whom this government rules,” says Khodorkovsky. The proposals he puts forward may well take shape in an election program. But even if Khodorkovsky is released before 2008, only a complete acquittal will allow him to run.
