The two instigators of the fight at the Chaika restaurant in the Karelian city of Kondopoga made their final statements at today's court hearings. The defendants pleaded guilty in part to assaulting the victims, repented and asked for forgiveness. In the dock are Sergei Mozgalev and Yuri Pliev, they are accused of “hooliganism” and “beatings”. The prosecutor asks for 5 years for Mozgalev and 2.5 for Pliev. Meanwhile, “Russian Projects” and other DPNI are flourishing, and, sadly, another Kondopoga is brewing with them.
