Profit from tragedy

For the first time during the trial of the hostage-taking case on Dubrovka, the prosecutor's office admitted the facts of looting by officials. The court ruled that one of the investigators involved in issuing items to victims of the terrorist attack embezzled money that belonged to the deceased Maxim Mikhailov. No criminal case will be initiated, since the person involved in the investigation recently died in a car accident. But a precedent has been created, and the victims’ lawyer Igor Trunov intends to achieve proof of similar facts.
