About 60 Georgian citizens remain in Russian temporary detention centers awaiting deportation to their homeland. There is a child among those detained. Georgians accuse the Russian authorities of violating their rights and demand that deportations be accelerated. Meanwhile, the official representative of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Poltoranin, assures the press that the conditions of detention are “not resort”, but “much better than in prison.” They say they sit normally, almost comfortably. And, naturally, “no one is making fun of them.”
