In one of the last articles , describing the wrists of Russian foreign policy, I, it seems to me, found a rather successful comparison. Those who are in the Kremlin are considered their vassals have long learned how to get the real nonsense in exchange for real loans to the Moscow chiefs (as the colonialists got glass beads to the natives). The main thing is that these “beads” would look like something anti -American. At the same time, Russia is not going to be limited to the purchase of “beads” in the post -Soviet space. The same “beads” are sold on other continents. Especially when the Kremlin strategists covers an unbearable desire to inflict a “response” on Washington.

Last week, during the visit of the American vice president to Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili tried to raise the question of the supply of anti-tank complexes and air defense systems. And although the Americans quite firmly stated that the question of weapons supply should not be at all, Moscow considered it necessary to react. First, the deputy minister of foreign affairs Grigory Karasin threatened to stop military cooperation with any country that supplies Georgia weapons. The hint was clear - transit to Afghanistan, so necessary for the Americans, may end without starting.

But this seemed a little. Heavy artillery came into business - Igor Ivanovich Sechin. He went to the best Putin's friend - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. He, due to the fall of oil prices, was again imbued with hatred of America, announced his intention to confront the upcoming aggression and intended to buy tanks in Russia. And Moscow joyfully accepted these “glass beads” once again. Sichin signed an agreement on “military-technical cooperation” with Chavez, that is, the sale of new parties of weapons. At the same time, Chavez does not intend to pay for this weapon at all - he does not have money, as noted above. He expects to receive a loan from Russia. The USSR, I remember, distributed such loans for many billions of dollars. True, it was not possible to return them.

There is not only this, Russian weapons can be not only in Venezuela, but also in the Colombian jungle. A couple of days before the signing of the Russian-Venesuel agreement, the Colombian military attacked the rebel camp, where they captured several Swedish-made grenade launchers. It turned out that this weapon was quite legally sold to the Armed Forces of Venezuela. From Chavez, of course, like water from a goose. He explains everything with provocations of insidious CIA. At the same time, no one will suspect the Swedes that they armed extremists who hold several hundred foreign hostages. But if the next time Russian weapons are found in the jungle, then Moscow will be washed much more difficult.

However, the Russian specialists in Real Politik indicate that Chavez is ready to give the concession to Russian oil and oil company oil fields that he had just selected from the Americans. However, many experts indicate that Chavez will not advance beyond the promises. It is not for nothing that he is friends with Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, a great master of trade “glass beads” ...
