The investigation into the disaster has reached a new level. On November 19, a commission to investigate the causes of the crash of the Su-27 found Valery Troyanov guilty, and two days later decided that the main responsibility for what happened lay with the military command, which gave the wrong order. According to the new version, the pilot “failed to perform the necessary actions when he lost orientation in flight, which led to the accident.” Today, Air Force Major Troyanov was downgraded from first to second class.
