The Lyublinsky District Court of Moscow recognized that there were violations at polling station No. 1359 during the presidential elections. Thus, the claim of former presidential candidate Mikhail Prokhorov was partially satisfied. However, the court refused to declare the voting results at the polling station invalid.
The lawsuit noted that at the polling station, 57 people voted according to a certain list, which included residents of 194 apartments in building No. 14 on Kubanskaya Street, despite the fact that there are only 52 apartments in this building, and information about the residents was on another list. But the court decided that 57 fictitious votes did not affect the election results.
According to official data, 600 people voted for Putin at the polling station, and 179 for Prokhorov.
So far, however, this is the only case where the court has at least partially recognized a complaint related to the presidential election as fair. Let us recall that in St. Petersburg, numerous fictitious not only votes, but also polling stations were discovered, in which, according to documents, more than 90% of the votes were cast for Putin, despite the fact that the polling stations themselves did not exist in nature at all.
Prokhorov said that his headquarters initiated more than 40 legal cases related to violations of the law during the election campaign. Decisions have already been made on some claims, and the voting results are not going to be canceled anywhere.
