I think that United Russia is very mistaken about his victory in the Moscow election. And the Democrats are just as mistaken about their defeat. The key figure of this whole campaign is a turnout. Two of the three remained at home.

The question for the same democrats stood in such a way that the voting for them chose not leaders and platforms, but stated that the democrats exist at all, that let them not in a large Duma, but they are at least in the second most important legislative assembly of the country.
This, of course, is not good. It is necessary to vote for the programs, in extreme cases - for the leaders. But it just so happened that a voice in favor of a democratic block is like a protest rally, even if you had previously disdained a cross opposite the word “apple”.
So, it would seem, all the conditions are created for citizens, if they are not flooded with a shaft, they would just come to the sites. They did not come. Therefore, United Russia received less than the sixth part from the formal list of voters! You will tell me that this is cunning, that this is the same statistics, which is more than the largest lie, that even in the USSR, even not 100%, but 99%. Of course, everyone cannot come to the polls, but one third of the list is very few. Yes, I know that this is also a little more than the previous one, but the situation has changed (see all of the above)!
Yes, in this situation for the democrats is really less than 4%, and those who have not overcome the threshold are more like lines from the Red Book. But the thing is that the elections to the Moscow City Duma were conceived as the elections of “United Russia”. In her interests, it was a full house at the electoral urns. It’s like in football: it is one thing to win in the presence of 100 thousand, another thing is when your triumph is observed by three cripples.
They don’t like power anywhere, they first choose power for some time, and then they scold it all the deadline. But here it turns out a real disaster. The vast majority of those who did not go to vote, or do not sympathize with the authorities, or are indifferent to them, which is also not very good for the authorities. And when also among those who came more than half they put checks in the wrong windows ...
United Russia parodies the CPSU. Without communist cruelty, without very nasty sample, but in form more and more like. And such parties strive for formally universal approval. They are on behalf of the people and want to rely on overwhelming numbers. The same as hefty hundred-meter duryndles with quotes from Putin on New Arbat, at the Russia hotel and in some places. 47% of 35% of those who came is not an overwhelming figure, it is just a formal result and a formal victory that allows you to get the set places in the Duma, sit in it, make decisions, reassign Luzhkov, if there is such an instruction, or appoint another citizen instead, if there is another indication. But this does not make United Russia a popular party, does not indicate universal love for it.
Most did not give a damn, others voted, because they did not hear about anyone else that it was not surprising. Many are sure that Putin is a member of this organization, and voted as if for him, which, in general, is true. But it is difficult to imagine a voter voting for United Russia with all his heart. Make a career, do not get out of the general row, keep your nose in the wind - these are incentives to vote for No. 8. Should I be proud that they cast votes for you in this way?
You can object: and you, democrats, apologize, where? In what places? With what percentage? With small percentages. In the rear places, although formally prize. But, on the other hand, for movement, which, it seems, is more dead than alive, and this is not bad.
It's something else. The fact is that two forces formed in the country: “United Russia” is a party of careerists and holfs, without ideology and a program, which is in the minority, and the second party, also without ideology, program, leaders and even names. In this other party, the count was generally taken away in the ballot - "against all." The vast majority of the population are members of this party. Under the slogan “so that you all fall through” these citizens live and work every day and do not go to any stupid elections. So it was they who won the Moscow vote.
