City without a head

On Friday night, the mayor of the town of Dzerzhinsky near Moscow, Viktor Dorkin, was killed. He was shot dead by unknown assailants on a playground near his home. At the scene of the incident, the police found ten cartridges from a Makarov pistol. Death occurred from two gunshot wounds - to the chest and head. Dorkin had headed the city administration for seven years, and, according to a preliminary version, it was his professional activity that caused his death.
