The current head of Chukotka agreed to include his candidacy in the list of contenders for the post of head of the region. This was announced today by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Konstantin Pulikovsky. Abramovich previously said that the first term is more than enough and he does not intend to make a political career. Apparently, the authorities' unequivocal statements about their desire to see him as governor in the future did their job. It’s better to combine business with politics than to lose it altogether.
