The searches are taking place in the office of the nationalist, member of the Opposition Coordination Council Vladimir Tor, and in the headquarters of the National Democratic Party, of which he is the chairman of the executive committee.
Thor's party comrade, its chairman Konstantin Krylov, wrote in a blog that the search was being carried out by employees of the Center for Combating Extremism. At the same time, as Thor himself told Interfax, he was presented with a search warrant, which indicated that in 2011 he allegedly illegally acquired an apartment, in connection with which a criminal case was initiated.
Thor is inclined to connect the search with the fact that the party plans to submit documents for registration to the Ministry of Justice in the near future.
Later it became known that a search was also taking place at the home of another prominent nationalist, Alexander Belov, who was not included in the Constitutional Court, as well as at the office of the “Russians” movement, of which he is one of the leaders.
