For almost a day, I feel like an insensitive parrot, which repeats the same thing with a hoarse voice.

It was also when Anna Politkovskaya was killed. And when they killed Stanislav Markelov, they also called and asked: “What do you think, who killed? Will the murder be revealed? "

I want to talk about it the least. To talk about living people and their affairs is what is more important. But you have to answer questions.

I do not have illusions regarding the imminent successes of the investigation.

What has already happened thousands of times over the past ten years - the abduction of a person (in bird’s legal language - “violent dishonest disappearance”) and murder (“extra -court execution”). Even when the bodies of people are not found (and they, as a rule, are not found), it is clear: they were killed. Of these three or five thousand “disappearance”, how many were brought to the court sentenced, to the conviction of the perpetrators?

One, approximately, the case is the “Cadet case”, a policeman from Siberia Sergey Lapin, who tortured the young Chechens Zelimkhan Murdalov in the October 2001 in January 2001 in the October Temporary Department of the Interior. The cadet is sitting now - one for thousands of such crimes. He sits firmly, he does not succeed in any reviews.

Natashin's work was always inconvenient for the authorities.

Starting from the fall of 1999, when hundreds of people were killed and wounded at the rocket fire of Grozny on October 21, and she survived and testified.

Then - “stripping”, abduction, “disappearance”, murders, torture, and the factory of criminal cases ...

And - the last year. What is done? What is the publicity?

The campaign of “collective responsibility and collective punishment” - dozens of burned houses of relatives of militants throughout Chechnya. A new wave of abductions of people.

Finally, the “last drop”: the public execution made by local “security forces” on July 7 in the village of Akhkinchu-Borza. Allegedly for the help of the militants ...

This has not happened for ten years.

And then, ten years ago, on the eve of the “second Chechen”, it was public executions that made many understand: “This has no right to exist.”

The latest materials by Natalia Estemirova caused, to put it mildly, the discontent of the Chechen leaders. This discontent was conveyed to the “memorials” by the Grozny “Commissioner for Human Rights” Nurdi Nukhazhiev.

And a year, a little ago, Natasha personally arranged Ramzan Kadyrov - he set her back from the leadership of the Human Rights Commission, where he appointed a month earlier. Natasha Estemirova did not become a “boss”, and used this “status” to continue the same previous work. In addition, the indignation of Kadyrov caused Natashino a critical attitude to the campaign to plant “spirituality” and “traditions”, to the mandatory wearing of women on the head. It could not even be forced to wear a scarf, such things ... a free person, one word.

So “personal hostility” was more than enough.

Indeed, the abductions of people have recently been committed exclusively by local "security forces". And the section of the Chechen-Ingush administrative border, where the Rostov-Baku highway passes, is also under the control of the Chechen "security forces", which, led by Adam Delimkhanov, catch militants in the forests there.

So there was an opportunity.

A bright man, despite the whole Black Mark in which Natasha lived all these years.

Bold man. A real Chechen man. There are few of them there. After all, they are killed first. With the murder of Natasha, they became much less.
