Many commentators, responding to the conference held by the RPC, at which once again the question of the authenticity of the royal remains was resolved, compared the intention to check for a wide public to check if the murder of the royal family was ritual (“in the church fence” this is one of the favorite topics of the fundamentalists), with the “Bailis case”. I see another analogy here - the "case of doctors."
The “struggle against cosmopolitanism” that has begun in Russia - the identification of “foreign agents” covers more and more layers of society - has not yet acquired the form of anti -Semitism, but, perhaps, the first serious application for the possible development of the power trend in this direction.
The Russian Orthodox Church has been extinguishing the issue of the authenticity of the royal remains for many years, since 1991. For clarity, we will delve into history.
In 1979, the Ural geologist and local historian Alexander Avdonin with a group of associates finds the remains of people on the territory of Porosenkov Log under the bridge of the sleepers - according to their assumption, the burial of the royal family. They remove fragments of bones and three skulls from the grave in the hope of giving them for examination, but it is not possible to agree on an examination in the Soviet years - everyone is afraid. A year later, scientists put the finds in a wooden box, hide it near the excavation site and for more than 10 years do not resume attempts to betray a publicity.
After the murder of Nicholas II, the Bolsheviks took them out of the city, divided them and dropped them into mine No. 7 of the four -column mine near the village of Koptyaki. A white investigation came to this conclusion (the whites occupied Yekaterinburg a few days after the execution of the royal family). In the photo, search work in the area of mine No. 7 (near Ganina Yama) in 1919, conducted by the investigator Sokolov.

Opening the burial in June 1991: in addition to Avdonin and his comrades, prosecutors, police, military, and scientists participated in the work. “9 human skeletons were discovered in the excavation, with great reliability attributed to members of the royal family and their servants,” says Avdonin. “The General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case related to the murder of the royal family in 1918-1919.” (m.ura.news)
With the beginning of the perestroika, the theme of the royal remains begins to openly be discussed in the press, groups of enthusiasts-investigations go to the Urals one after another. Scientists begin to worry that unprofessional diggers will simply destroy the burial, and Avdonin writes about the long -standing find to the chairman of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR Boris Yeltsin. In the summer of 1991, the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region holds excavation at the Avdonin place and discovers skeletons of nine people (among them - the remains of the entire royal family, with the exception of two children, Alexei and Maria).
However, in the same summer, with the blessing of the then Sverdlovsk archbishop, the memory of the royal family establishes a worship cross at Ganina's pit. This abandoned mine appears in the affairs of investigators of Kolchakovsky times as a place for the burial of the royal remains. Writer Vladimir Soloukhin writes the felt article “At Ganina Pit”.

Two camps arise: supporters of the authenticity of Porosenkov Log and supporters of the authenticity of Ganina Yama (where many things were really found, apparently belonging to the royal family, but there were no remains, and those fragments of the bones that were discovered did not recognize the examination for human). Moreover, a new democratic community is grouped around, and around the “pit” - monarchists and fundamentalists (to follow these perestroika? - yes for nothing!).
Research lasts seven years. Many examinations, including three genetic, about 100 experts from different countries - all recognized the authenticity of the remains from Porosenkov Log. But the "Pit of the Pit" did not convince this. The official church, without standing right on its side, nevertheless also refused recognition. And he still refuses, although in the summer of 2007 in the same piglet logs next to the old excavation the remains of a girl and a teenager are identified by experts as the remains of Tsarevich Alexei and Princess Maria.

Of course, it is scary to make a mistake and force the people to worship pessions - in 2000 the Bishop Cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church (after long disputes, note) canonized the imperial family in the face of mentors. However, church stubbornness is also fed with financial motives: in Ganina Yama, a monastery complex was quite quickly built in honor of the Holy Royal Martyrs (having walked on the ground with heavy equipment, so now the research there are difficult). In the seven churches of the monastery - one for each family member - services are held, on the royal days (anniversary of death) pilgrims from all over the world flow here, cross movements are organized from Yekaterinburg - an extensive subculture with its rituals and customs has already developed, in each church there is a “special shrine”. The monastery brings a considerable income to the Church - and so, to recognize now that it is built in the wrong place? Build another monastery, lose financial flows?

Yekaterinburg. Porosenkov Log.
No, the patriarchy demands to create a new commission where representatives of the church would enter. The commission is created. And now she shares at the conference “The Case of the Murder of the Tsar’s Family: New Expertise and Materials. Discussion ”with their conclusions, which with a high degree of probability allow us to believe that the remains found near Yekaterinburg belong to the royal family. And again - no. The church is not ready to formulate its attitude to the research of scientists. She will still think about it. Let the bishop's cathedral say his weighty word.
But she already thought of some thought. A significant part of the church commission on the study of the results of the study of the remains adheres to the version of the ritual murder of the royal family, Bishop Yegoryevsky Tikhon (Shevkunov) said in his report.
Perhaps, of course, this is a cunning maneuver in order to protect the church authorities from the attacks of the fundamentalists (they have repeatedly accused the patriarchy functionaries of the betrayal of Orthodoxy of passionate and open 90s)-they say, we accept your arguments, but we will obey the opinion of the Bishop Cathedral (though the cathedral will also not make any decision).

On the eve of the "Tsarskoye days" in 2016, two dozen activists ennobled the Romanov memorial, located on the old Koptyakovsky road

However, the Investigative Committee connected to the case. “The investigation is planned to be the appointment of a psychological and historical forensic examination to resolve the issue related, inter alia, with a possible ritual nature of the murder of a royal family,” said Marina Molodtsova, senior investigator for particularly important cases of the first investigative department of the Main Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of Particularly important matters of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
And here, as they say, options are possible. Or the church authorities feel so uncertain that the authorities calls for help, which should protect him from all the same fundamentalists with its authority. Or the government needs a version of the “ritual murder” as a new “scraper” for further consolidation of society on “patriotic” grounds. "Bezrodny Cosmopolitans" can be useful again in this case. So far, I am not very believed, but let us recall: the “Russian world” also for the time being ripened in the bowels of the church until the regime was needed ...
