It is known that Vladimir Putin cannot stand Alexander Lukashenko. More or less understandable for what: Lukashenko, with all this bulb, clearly does not meet the ideas of the Russian president of what should say and what the enlightened ruler of the European state should look. In a word, obviously not Berlusconi. And Lukashenko does not pull on Schroeder. But politics is a harsh thing. Today, the geopolitical interests of Russia require that our country support the regime of the Belarusian Old Man. So, apparently, his advisers explained to Putin. And he himself perfectly understands: another “orange” revolution at side is too much. At least one friendly regime should remain in the post -Soviet space. Well, or at least a regime that pretends to be friendly. It is known that the attitude of Alexander Grigoryevich to his great neighbor (I mean, of course, Putin) is very controversial. In those moments when a great neighbor allowed himself liberties (for example, about cutlets and flies), Lukashenko immediately got on his hind legs and, with his characteristic directness, carried this very neighbor on the air on what the light stands. Not forgetting to send unambiguous signals: they say, you don’t have any means against me - you will stop giving free oil (well, or almost free), I will block all the transit freebies to you. And it will become completely tight - I will stop feeding the Belarusian people. When this hungry people reaches east, it will definitely not seem enough to you.

Nevertheless, Putin, even on the eve of the elections, could not squeeze out his words in support of the Old Man. But Yuri Luzhkov is easy. But Luzhkov is okay. He has a demobilization. However, even after the demobilization, life does not end. And in order for this life to be calm and comfortable, he was not like Lukashenko - Paul Potu would support. In addition, Lukashenko Luzhkov is mental and ideologically close. (However, Paul sweat, perhaps too.) But some of our famous cultural figures, folk, so to speak, pets, caused me special tenderness. Today's Kommersant writes that Alexander Kalyagin, Galina Volchek, and Alexey Petrenko were campaigned for the dad. Interestingly, at the same time they remembered about the disappeared opposition politicians and journalists, about political prisoners, about the fact that Lukashenko is going on for the third term, about mass arrests on the eve of the elections, about the deportation of observers suspected of lowness? It is unlikely ... for these artists, memory functions very specifically. But we have normal with you. Therefore, we are unlikely to forget about how these people behaved in these circumstances ...

Meanwhile, the elections took place. And with the support of Russian political and theatrical landing, Alexander Lukashenko won a triumphal victory. The local CEC claims that almost 83% of voters cast votes for him, with a turnout that exceeded 90%. To analyze this result is a waste of time. We can’t even imagine how close it is or is not true. This in Russia is believed that more than 10% cannot be stolen. In Belarus, everything is different. There, for example, there were no representatives from the opposition in the precinct election commissions - all of them on the eve of various serious offenses and were detained by law enforcement agencies. And for some reason, I personally do not feel any trust in the observers like Rushailo or Baburin.

But in fact, the intrigue of these elections was not in their result - it was quite predictable. The intrigue consisted in whether the opposition could bring people to the streets. Moreover, in the amount sufficient to provide significant pressure on power, for the initiation of "Maidan" processes. Judging by the television picture that we observed this morning, this could not be done.
