The newly formed “December 11 Movement” announced on the Internet that on the 11th of every month, according to the tradition established by the atrocities of December 11, Russian people should gather at Manezhnaya, walk and sing Russian songs. The idea of the movement is to gather as many people as possible who are dissatisfied with the anti-Russian regime. Among the main complaints are “they came in large numbers here”, as well as “freedom for Kvachkov” (retired GRU Colonel Vladimir Kvachkov, a nationalist and friend of the paratroopers, who was suspected of organizing the assassination attempt on Anatoly Chubais, was arrested on December 23 on suspicion of organizing an armed mutiny of crossbowmen). They also demand that the official representative of the Moscow City Internal Affairs Directorate, Viktor Biryukov, be brought to justice for, as they say, patronizing provocateurs at the Kievsky railway station. (Recall that photographs of a certain former (or not former) activist of the pro-Kremlin movement “Nashi” Levon Arzumanyan, who, according to some sources, came to a gathering of nationalists and Caucasians along with Biryukov on December 14, and was then seen raising his hand in a Nazi salute in front of the crowd, were circulating on blogs. ) If more than 500 thousand people come to the gathering, they are going to break into the Kremlin and establish their power, after which they will divide the natural wealth, execute corrupt officials in the square, and imprison Russophobes for five years. A list of Russophobes has also been opened, which so far contains two names: TV journalist, member of the Public Chamber, author of the Daily Journal Nikolai Svanidze and publicist Leonid Mlechin. Anonymous nationalists are demanding similar gatherings be held in other cities.
And so on January 11, large police forces were gathered at Manezhnaya. Agencies, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, talk about 100 or more detainees, Biryukov - about only ten. Among those detained is the leader of the Slavic Union, Dmitry Demushkin, who faces up to 15 days of arrest. Vladimir Toru, an activist of the Movement against Illegal Immigration, was unlucky when he only left the special detention center on January 10, where he spent 10 days: he was also detained. The leader of the “Russian Image” Alexey Mikhailov was also detained, who was soon released without a protocol. According to official data, there were no riots.
