Sergey Fursenko was fired from the post of President of the RFU. And even if he does not mislead anyone’s wording “resigned”. FIFA fundamentally opposes the intervention of the state in the activities of national federations, and for species everything must be arranged well. Therefore, Fursenko was fired with this formulation. At one time, Vyacheslav Koloskov also “resigned”, in the same way, “voluntarily” refused to participate in the elections and compete with Fursenko Sergey Kapkov.

I will not now analyze in detail Fursenko’s activities and draw up a list of claims to this master. Firstly, because we are not a sports magazine. And secondly, in fact in the main ones, because the list of these claims will be endless. It's easier to do it. Question: What did Sergey Fursenko do not so at the post of head of the RFU? Answer: That's it! Not only attentive fans and people who were directly involved in a football life, but the townsfolk did not understand the logic and meaning of almost all his decisions. For two years of his reign, there was only one big and indisputable achievement. Russia received the right to hold the World Cup. But she received it largely due to the fact that Fursenko and the RFU were actually removed from participation in the process! But then Fursenko himself removed those who provided this victory by expelling from the RFU all the more or less suitable people.

The history of Fursenko’s activity in our football is the brightest example of how the work of a non -professionalist looks like a person who does not understand anything, and at a post that does not correspond to at all.

In addition, it soon became clear that Sergei Alexandrovich had forgiveness, not all at home. First, his statement that Russia will certainly win the home World Cup in 2018 was perceived as populism. The adoption of the anecdotal code of honor of Russian football (in this document, which has become a compilation of the Code of the Builder of Communism, ten commandments and oaths of the pioneer, all the words were with a capital letter) as a bait of a person brought up under socialism. But then eccentricities became the norm. And the football world in bewilderment retold stories about natural sorcerers who worked in the state of a football union. The last chord was the statement as a symbol of the national team at the European Championship of the Scarlet Flower.

The favorite movie "Dog heart" comes to memory. The episode when Professor Preobrazhensky remade Sharikov “back” and he began to return to the dog. And then just the commissars came to the professor for the search for Sharikov and saw a crazy creature chasing the apartment: “How did he work with your cleaning chief?” And we have a crazy, unprofessional person led football. Which remarkably reflects the attitude of the authorities to Fursenko himself, and to football and sports as such.

Fursenko is one of Putin's old friends, indigenous members of the lake cooperative. Putin does not throw his own, and all of them are arranged in certain bread positions. It can be seen that Sergei Alexandrovich is not quite good at all, if he did not find a more profitable place than to lead football. This place is really not very profitable, believe me.

And on the other hand, the state considers sport as fun, which gives a good patriotic navar. Despite the fact that in normal countries, sports and its most popular branch of football are an industry. Requiring a serious, professional approach and competent leadership. It cannot be directed part-time with something else, in their free time from another work, between business. But we are quite seriously believed that anyone can do this.

For decades, our football was led by Vyacheslav Ivanovich Koloskov. And he was considered almost fascinated by hell, a symbol of frustration, stagnation, backwardness. Today, Vyacheslav Ivanovich is remembered with nostalgia, and those times are like bright and kind. Instead of Koloskov, Mutko came. And again it seemed that nothing more absurd could be. But today, when the conversation comes about the possible return of Mutko, this seems to be a saving exit. It turns out that each subsequent leadership in our football was worse than the previous one, and I will not be surprised if after some time we enthusiastically recall the eccentric Fursenko and ask him to return it back.

Meanwhile, already in September, our national team will start in the qualifying campaign for the World Cup. And we have neither the head of the football union, nor the coach of the national team, nor the team itself. Not to mention all those problems that were in football for decades and remained so, only aggravated. Contracting matches, budget financing of professional teams, crazy transfer amounts and salaries with their complete opacity, racism in the stands, antediluvian infrastructure, bought judges and, of course, stunned fans, a nutrient medium for all types of public vices. Who will do all this?

Soon the choice of the head of the RFU should be held. Which, of course, will not be. Because the head of the RFU will be appointed in the Kremlin. Putin himself, according to knowledgeable people, is indifferent to football. And he will support the decision that, apparently, will formulate Mr. Miller from Gazprom and several more St. Petersburg comrades, actively in football participants. Gryzlov is being sent to the football chiefs. With a slightly less likely, it can be Dvorkovich. Or maybe even some kind of mere close to himself, who, like Gryzlov, has nothing to do or who would also be fun to call football. But in any situation, it will be a person whom no one has chosen and who will not be held responsibility to anyone. This will be a person for whom football is at best a hobby and who at the hobby level in his problems is versed.

It is good if this person will do without sorcerers and a scarlet flower. Any power can have any vices, but it certainly should not be funny. Fursenko was funny. His rule was funny. The result of our national team at the European Championship turned out to be funny. So much funny around, and for some reason not at all fun.
