In my opinion, one very important link is missing here. between "managerial common sense" and morality There must be a law . Governance of the country should be based not on religion, but on law . Religion is a very subtle thing; it lives in the heart of a person. Today we enthusiastically worship the True God, and tomorrow - again... and serve the golden calf. And morality also depends on the subject of service. Today, despite the fact that 80% of the population is “Orthodox,” our true religion is the Religion of Money; it also produces its own “morality” - absolute dishonesty as a norm of existence, criminalization of social relations, lies, cynicism, lack of an independent judiciary, arbitrariness of law enforcement agencies, propaganda duping of the people and servility of a significant part of the intelligentsia, the decline and “glamorization” of culture, etc.

Moreover, the declarative justification of social relations on religion leads to a decrease in legal awareness, because essentially morality and religiosity are connected in a special, non-linear way. Under these conditions, it is convenient, by manipulating religiosity, to declare law “below” religion and thereby justify trampling it. Alas, religion, as history shows, can generally cover up anything, any irresponsibility, any atrocity... As a Christian, I am pleased, of course, that the head of our state is not an opponent of the faith; but as a citizen, I would like the President of Russia, the guarantor of the Constitution, that is, of law and law, to be guided in his activities by an institutional legal consciousness.
