I want to congratulate all of you on the past day of Russian science and wish for further success in work! The holiday makes us recall the well -known one: alcohol in small doses is useful in any quantities. After talking about useful small doses, you involuntarily recall various non -traditional areas of medicine, such as homeopathy.

Yes, of course, unlike the usefulness of small doses of alcohol, the usefulness of homeopathic drugs is called into question by many. Like, such dilutions that are practiced in homeopathy should not leave traces of the active substance - one water remains. With different impurities, of course. Therefore, there can be no benefit from homeopathic drugs. But, speaking of conscience, what if so? Homeopathic balls buy people in pharmacies, use them - who does the harm from this? Moreover, homeopathy creates jobs in the production and sale of drugs, so its benefits for the economy are obvious.

However, recently, quite harmless pills were severely criticized by the RAS Commission to combat the pseudoscience, which published a memorandum of the pseudoscience of homeopathy. In this memorandum, Fighters with pseudoscience said that numerous clinical trials conducted in different countries at different times could not experimentally demonstrate the effectiveness of homeopathic agents and treatment methods. And then they concluded that homeopathy is not harmless, since “ patients spend significant funds on invalid drugs and neglect the treatment with confirmed effectiveness. This can lead to adverse outcomes, including the death of patients . ” In general, the Academy announced a crusade against homeopathy.

Without going into the discussion, I can only be surprised why the academicians suddenly woke up now, although homeopathy triumphantly walks around the country for many decades. If my memory does not change me, the previous surge in the activity of the commission to combat the pseudoscience was associated with the Russian nugget Viktor Petrica and the United Russia supported by the Pure Water program. The question involuntarily arises: maybe academics are breathing unevenly to the water?

On the other hand, you never know the elderly academicians are numb - do not pay attention to it. And regarding the memorandum of the commission to combat pseudoscience, the Shakespearean passions flared up. Political scientist from the Higher School of Economics Mark Urnov spoke sharply and directly: “ A group of oligophrenes from the Russian Academy of Sciences decided to declare the city and the world about the pseudoscience of homeopathy. I do not comment on their initiative in the initiative: you should not enter into a polemic with morons . ” Professor Urnov hinted that the signing of a memorandum may be the monetary interest of pharmacologists who want to supplant competitors from the market from among homeopaths.

Moreover, the case was not limited to words: blood spilled. Fortunately, so far only figuratively. From the Central Scientific Research Institute of Organization and Informatization of Health, the Ministry of Health fired the leading researcher Denis Roshchin, who participated in the development of a memorandum. But the dashing trouble began ...

Against the backdrop of a boil of passions, a rare restraint was shown by the former chief sanitary doctor of all Russia Gennady Onishchenko. This is what a reasonable and state -minded person means! He stated that the doctor’s faith in the final result is one of the important aspects in the treatment. “ From the point of view of strict science, probably they (the authors of the memorandum of the recognition of homeopathy pseudoscience) are right. Science is not amenable to emotions, science believes: there is an active substance, but there is an effect. But I would remind you that medicine is art, it is not a profession. Therefore, the factor of the doctor’s faith makes miracles. You can just give a placebo to the patient - it’s just chamomile in the form of a pill - and there will be a positive effect , ”the State Duma deputy said now.

That would be all necessary for everyone: none of us can know that ultimately can act and play a role. Homeopathy, allopathy, evidence -based medicine - we are all mortal, whatever one may say. Therefore, it is worth taking care of your spiritual health and choose small doses of alcohol in the amount in which they do not harm the body.
