Only mothers were not afraid

The committee believes that “statements by the Russian authorities that A. Maskhadov will be buried in an unmarked grave contradict moral standards, Russian and international law.” A document has appeared in Russia where things are called by their proper names: the pandemonium that has been going on for a week around Maskhadov’s body is beyond the bounds of human morality. But only one public organization decided to remind the authorities about this. The rest are apparently afraid of being labeled as accomplices of terrorists.
