Against slander

In response to government accusations against non-governmental public organizations of collaborating with Western intelligence, activists from the Memorial society and the For Human Rights movement decided to hold a protest. Its goal is “to draw attention to the inadmissibility of provocations against NGOs, pressure on civil society, organization of slander campaigns and insinuations against human rights defenders.” The picket, for which the organizers will no longer have time to obtain permission, is scheduled for 17:00 on February 1 at the central entrance to the FSB building on Lubyanka Square in Moscow.
