The Supreme Court on Friday liquidated the Republican Party of Russia, thereby satisfying the Fed's demands. Party leader, State Duma deputy Vladimir Ryzhkov said that he intends to appeal the liquidation of the party in Strasbourg and the Constitutional Court of Russia. Yesterday, the Prosecutor General's Office re-banned the NBP public organization. Both movements are part of the “Other Russia” coalition - apparently, the authorities call this “pre-election activity.”
