The Bermuda IPOC Foundation filed a lawsuit in an American court against the Russian Alfa Group. Mikhail Fridman and other company executives are accused of fraud and attempting to monopolize the Russian mobile communications market. The lawsuit concerns the purchase of 25.1 percent of Megafon shares, which went to Alfa Group. According to the plaintiff, the US Treasury and US citizens also became victims of this scheme. The defendants have so far refrained from commenting; only Rozhetskin called all the accusations nonsense.
