St. Petersburg Socialist -Revolutionaries dispute the numbers: according to them, the city was flooded with at least 500 copies. Images were placed about a week ago in the central regions of the city (at public transport stops) and in the subway (in wagons and lobby). “They will play until the end of May,” the United Russia promised and emphasized on every corner: “This is not a PR party.” Commenting is extra work. All St. Petersburg heirs of talented figures of the past on the faces of their ancestors in unexpected content stumbled on city streets by chance only on May 24-25. Others completely saw them on the Internet only yesterday. Photos of the poster and the comment on his blog was posted by actor Alexey Devotchenko:

They took it - they accepted the person in the party posthumously. It seems to me that a lot of our rights have been violated. Of course, the authorities can prove anything. In addition to the fact that Shostakovich should advertise it.

What to do with it? The main thing is not to propy a promotion, but to achieve the removal of posters. They do not climb into any gates. The court takes time. And I do not need money from them, I do not need any compensation - just remove my relative from these shameful posters!

Dmitry Sergeyevich hardly wanted to be a crown of any party. The conversations are stupid that “this is not an advertisement”, “they are not for the sake of PR, but for the Petersburgers to remember these people ...” If they really wanted to, they would simply hang posters and did not give any cap. People would remember. What difference does it make: they will remember the grandfather and the rest with a hat of "United Russia" or without it?

The authorities could not stand that he did not hide. But this did not reflect even in his verses - he existed above it. The fact that the poet’s name is used for such flat-and-limiting purposes causes, to put it mildly, indignation. Apparently, “United Russia”, as the ruling party, believes that he can dispose of everyone and everyone.

- I saw Pushkin’s photo on the poster. This did not deliver joy and could not deliver. Pushkin belongs to the whole of Russia, and not just the "one".

I cannot calculate the legal consequences as a philologist. But this is the obvious privatization. I don’t know how possible to prevent this. It’s as if you didn’t go to the registry office, but only dance danced. Something similar. Not forever. Made very tricky. And this is already becoming constant practice.

But it is worth reminding to those who do not know or forget that it was in Russia that great people have always been in a very difficult relationship with the authorities. It is - in Russia, and always - in difficult.

On May 25, Novy correspondents spent the whole day to find scandalous congratulatory posters of United Russia in St. Petersburg. We wasted: they did not find a single one. The images disappeared from all the shields, where they were seen only the day before. On May 24, bloggers managed to photograph and put on the network portraits of Pushkin and Likhachev at the Moskovskaya metro station on Moskovsky Prospekt. On May 25, in the same place, we admired the advertisement of News Outdoor Russia - the largest Russian outdoor advertising operator, and it was the company with which the St. Petersburg branch of the EP has concluded a contract for posting posters.

On May 26, St. Petersburg United Russia officially confirmed the dismantling of all failed congratulations:

“They are filmed posters,” the press service of the regional branch of the EP told the “new”. - If this campaign caused such a negative public outcry, then United Russia did not consider it necessary to bend its line: “Let them hang, no matter what.” Since the Petersburgers did not like the posters - we will remove them so as not to spoil the holiday for people. Although we do not think that we did something wrong or blasphemous.

“All posters were dismantled by May 26 at the request of the customer,” Vladimir Ryabovol, head of the News Outdoor Russia representative office in St. Petersburg, confirmed to the New ”. - But United Russia plans to provide updated versions of information materials.

How much the party in the authorities paid for a “mistake” - making congratulations and placing them with an expensive operator - they refused to speak in the St. Petersburg office of United Russia. The local branch of News Outdoor Russia “New” prompted: each poster flaunting in the city center from 1 to 2 weeks costs the customer of 5.5-8 thousand rubles. The number of advertising structures rented by “United Russia” from News Outdoor Russia, as well as other details of the contract concluded between the company and the party, none of the parties discloses.

-It never occurred to me that in order to say something about a person, you need to ask permission from him or from his relatives. I do not consider this to be an advertising campaign of the United Russia party. This is the party’s appeal to the townspeople and their congratulations in such a visual way. On our behalf, we congratulate and talk on our own behalf. But not about yourself. I fully admit that someone is perceived by someone like a performance in support of United Russia, but I don’t. Here is the difference in relation to and in sensations. I did not find a single person who would perceive it as the ugly PR of United Russia.

After all, there Pushkin and Brodsky do not say that the United Russia party is good, and they simply did not manage to enter it. It was not about the fact that famous people for United Russia. We just wanted the Petersburgers to once again see the images of these people in the context in which we placed them. We took people who are not living now, who are where the results of future elections are not important to them and everything else related to this, not because they cannot answer, but because we talked about important things - about fate, love, about life.

I will definitely contact relatives and apologize. Only I will not arrange a repentant show from this show. I am very sorry that they survived and experience unpleasant minutes, which, in my opinion, are incorrectly initiated by individuals.

I have a certificate prepared by our lawyers, according to which we have not violated anything. We had every right to do this.

I cannot name the cost of manufacturing and placing posters. Not because I hide it - I do not have a question. This is not to say that the total amount is small, but I do not know her. There is a support fund of the United Russia party, which pays all such things.

I have no information that on May 24-25 posters were shot. I can not confirm this or refute this.
