Is Akayev no longer president?

The leaders of the Kyrgyz opposition somehow suddenly turned into leaders of the revolution. But even in the morning, none of them imagined that victory would be so quick. Moreover, yesterday it seemed that Askar Akayev was very determined and even ready to use force to save the regime. But either there was not enough strength, or determination. And most likely - both. The speed with which revolutionary processes are developing in the CIS countries gives rise to certain thoughts and inspires vague hopes.
