Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg asked Speaker of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov to abandon the idea of ​​heading the A Just Russia list in the March elections. The statement appeared after Valentina Matvienko refused to head the St. Petersburg list of United Russia. Apparently, the appeal to Mironov was “pushed through” by United Russia. The logic is simple: United Russia can use high-ranking “sovereign” people - Matveenko, Shoigu - but not competitors, even pro-Kremlin ones. Incorrect.
