A strange man tried to repeat Koptsev’s “feat”: early on Wednesday morning, an unknown person with a knife tried to enter the synagogue in Yekaterinburg. But apparently he was in a hurry. The incident occurred around 6 a.m., when only the duty officer was in the synagogue building. He was not injured. The attacker hit the front door several times while shouting anti-Semitic slogans. The unknown person was detained by officers of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs.
