Ukraine will not increase the cost of renting bases in Crimea for the Russian Black Sea Fleet. This was stated by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Lytvyn. The day before, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Anatoly Kinakh announced the authorities’ intention to increase the annual fee for the Crimean fleet facilities from 97 million to 1.8 billion dollars. According to him, this calculation was made based on the report of the Ukrainian State Committee on Land Resources.
