Campaigning in the press is now allowed.
I thank the Central Election Commission - and I use it.
And – believe it or not – it’s free.
Why for ATP?
Because SPS suddenly became completely different from itself – the way it was just a month ago. In my article “Motherland” I called them officials of RAO UES. In part, this is true (the salaries and place of work of many SPS functionaries).
But the behavior of the party is not the behavior of officials. There were officials - they became real people. Agree, in the papier-mâché kingdom of Russian “politics” this is a completely unusual phenomenon.
They have a drive. The eyes sparkled. Articulate speech emerged. One feels that they feel good - “it’s easy and pleasant to tell the truth.” Moreover, they are the only ones who speak.
The devil knows what kind of fly bit them - but now we clearly see what a huge flock of flies immediately flocked to them.
Yavlinsky, for the 1001st time explaining “why I still don’t unite with the Union of Right Forces”; Dorenko, very opportunely, suddenly remembered that Nemtsov “offended him”; the Moscow mayor's office, which banned them - and only them - from marching on November 4; local officials throughout Russia, disrupting Nemtsov’s trips and other “civilian borschevs.” And this is just the beginning. If the SPS does not come to its senses and crawl back into its sad shell, there will be a fight. It’s wild to say - at these “elections”, where the dead mutter something about the dead without raising their eyes, there could be a live fight! Wonderful are Your works, O Lord...
Why are the authorities suddenly so angry at the Union of Right Forces?
Still, they understand that in any case they won’t get many votes, the people hate these “shitcrats” and CIA agents reliably and stubbornly, even if by a miracle “a drop of liberals” ends up in the Duma soup, well, to hell with them, weather they They won’t do it there, they’ll just mess something up.
The simplest and most obvious answer is that the Administration needs to at least fight with someone. The fodder has been allocated - we need to master it! In fact, 10,000 fighters of the ideological front are standing and sniffling, there is absolutely nothing to occupy them, you have to shout “Ay! At least someone!” Well, we found it - and forward with a song.
This is undoubtedly true.
But the attack on the Union of Right Forces is not accidental.
They outrage the authorities not politically, but psychologically, aesthetically, physiologically. And I understand this perfectly.
Living (even half-dead) has nothing to do in the kingdom of the dead. They need to be killed - and then, please, vote for this corpse and for that one.
All the “parties” in Russia and their “election campaign” are described in Dostoevsky’s story “Bobok”. It says that after death the corpse “cools down” for several more weeks, “falls asleep” in the ground - it still says something, mutters, then quieter, quieter, and then, at the end, it squeaks - “bobok” and that’s it.
In relation to people - fantastic. In relation to “political parties” in Russia - “realism of real life, gentlemen,” as Dostoevsky said.
Everyone mumbles, with downcast eyes, a ritual set of words, goes through a “mandatory program” - about the need for an independent court, about private property, freedom of the media, about, excuse the expression, “corruption”, “bureaucracy”, the abolition of gubernatorial elections, prices, pensions and etc. etc. Bobok. All that Mr. Yavlinsky aptly called “stories about the fact that 2+2=4.”
Well, keep on muttering - no one is stopping you. Everything is according to the rules, the main thing is to use your nasal voice, keep your head down, and dig up the asphalt with your toe. Yawn into your palm - and ok. The SPS could also shake the same apple trees for laughs - and the apples fall heavily on the SPS. And there is something for people to see.
Tolstoy said that art begins where there is “a little bit.”
“A little bit” is the thinnest line that distinguishes truth from lies, action from chewing gum, life from an imitation of the same life.
And then the Union of Right Forces - suddenly - crossed this line, just as it stepped over the Rubicon “a little bit.”
They began to talk not about “the system, bureaucracy, corruption,” but about “Putin’s cult of personality.” It was the Union of Right Forces that organized the first letter - a response to Mikhalkov. No other party dared. So we were left with conversations about the “lack of media freedom”...
They organized a march “against Putin’s personality cult.” They were banned, naturally.
The Union of Right Forces, out of fear, obediently refused to include Ryzhkov on its list – that’s normal. They behaved like everyone else. And suddenly they began to work again with Ryzhkov, with the untouchable.
They filed a lawsuit against the president for violating election campaign rules.
In general, how can they run into rudeness.
Why? Have you eaten too much henbane? Haven't they been dragged for Chubais for a long time?
Political technology calculation of their chief technologist Bakov? “Everyone is licking, but we have nothing to lose - let’s go against the flow, maybe they’ll notice us”? Maybe. For sure. But the calculation is simple, but no one dares.
In general, the motives of the Union of Right Forces are absolutely unknown and uninteresting to me. There are no angels there - neither Nemtsov, nor Belykh, nor Ryzhkov, and certainly not Gozman and Bakov.
But these conversations “are they honest? isn't this a game? But won't they change once they get into the Duma? and let’s remember about privatization and Chubais’s behavior at the second congress of the RSDLP,” etc. – this is simply the most shameful form of Russian intellectual masturbation.
It's actually simple.
As is rightly said, there are no elections. There is a referendum, a plebiscite.
Are you for “Putin’s plan”? In relation to politics, this means “bobok”.
If “for”, then vote for any party – it makes no difference.
If “against”, then “there is such a party.” And forget about their program and Chubais’ biography. I don’t care about fat, I wish I could live! Do you want politics to be alive, so that it at least has a “chance to live”? So they are not extremists, not Bolsheviks, not revolutionaries. But it’s true - they behave like they’re alive (or at least half-dead), doing what others don’t dare.
So, do not act like kitchen whiners, but like people who can do something. And it’s not a tricky thing.
