Real elections

The Moscow City Hall graciously agreed to hold opposition rallies on October 20 and 21 in support of the elections to its Coordination Council. The protests will be held on Trubnaya Square on October 20 from 12.00 to 18.00, and on October 21 from 15.00 to 21.00. Let us remind you that these are the days when elections to the Coordination Council will take place. Voting can be done online or at select committees (instructions can be found at http://cvk2012.org/). In addition, the opposition plans to organize voting directly at the rallies. The Constitutional Court is elected for one year and will consist of 45 people: 30 will be elected on the general civil list and another five each from three ideological directions (leftists, liberals and nationalists; at the same time, some representatives of various ideological directions are also running on the general civil list).

Initially, the opposition wanted to hold rallies in Novopushkinsky Square, but the mayor's office refused. The estimated number of participants at each event is one and a half thousand people.
