At the end of the presentation , at which the company presented its line of new tablets, laptops and software solutions, the iOS operating system update numbered 7.0.3 was released.
The previous update to Apple's mobile operating system, number 7.0.2, was released on September 26. It closed a small vulnerability that allowed, with a certain procedure, to bypass the password on the lock screen.
The list of changes in iOS 7.0.3 is much more extensive. In particular, the company reports that it has fixed problems with the iMessage service and with the gyroscope of iPhone 5s smartphones, and also expanded the “reduce motion” function to almost all animations in iOS 7.
The full list of changes in iOS 7.0.3 can be found below.
1. Add iCloud Keychain to manage account names, passwords, and credit card numbers across all user-verified devices.
2. Adding a “Password Generator” feature designed to provide the Safari browser with unique, hard-to-guess passwords for user accounts.
3. Introducing a delay in displaying the “Unlock” message on the locked screen when using Touch ID.
4. Return of the ability to search the Internet and Wikipedia to the Spotlight function.
5. Fixed an issue that caused iMessages to fail to send on some users' devices.
6. Fixed a bug that could prevent iMessage from being activated.
7. Increased system stability when using iWork programs.
8. Elimination of the accelerometer calibration problem.
9. Fixed a bug that could result in lower quality voices being used in Siri and VoiceOver.
10. Fixed an issue that could allow others to bypass entering the passcode on the locked screen.
11. Improved "Reduce Motion" setting to reduce the effect of motion and animation.
12. Fix an issue that could cause VoiceOver input sensitivity
13. Updated the Bold setting to allow text to be changed on the dial pad as well.
14. Correction of an error that could lead to the transition of supported devices to unsupported ones when updating the software.
