A terrible military secret

The other day we learned the biggest military secret of our state. Namely, where, according to the authorities, the main threat comes from, and who the potential military enemy is.

It must be said that this is exactly the information that various analysts sought from the Ministry of Defense after the impending large-scale reduction of the Armed Forces was announced. The Ministry of Defense remained silent, like Malchish-Kibalchish during interrogation, and did not reveal military secrets.

And it’s clear why - the main enemy is now not in the military department. After all, this enemy is not the evil NATO, not the American adversary, and not even China. The main potential enemy is the people of Russia.

This is precisely what follows directly from the latest statements by the command of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It turns out that all internal troop reductions planned since 2005 (to maintain law and order within the country) have been suspended, and they will most likely remain at their strength of 200 thousand military personnel. Which is quite comparable to the size of the Ground Forces, which in 2012 should number 270 thousand people. The fact that the Ground Forces are still somewhat larger than the internal ones is probably explained by the weak armament of the potential enemy, his lack of tanks and multiple launch rocket systems. However, sooner or later, domestic strategists will be forced to take into account both the considerable size of the proposed theater of military operations and the quantitative superiority of the people over the internal troops.

If so, then the time is not far off when the shock gendarmerie forces will be superior to the army.
