The Ministry of Finance refused to allocate money from the federal budget for the legalization of software in Russian schools, Kommersant writes. Such a mechanism was envisaged by the software legalization program in schools, presented by the Ministry of Information and Communications in April. The Ministry of Information and Communications believes that the letter from the Ministry of Finance actually means the failure of the program to legalize schools. Now it is proposed to carry out legalization at the expense of the subjects, and school directors will be responsible for “pirate” programs, as we could understand from the Ponosov case, and in court.
