In Kaliningrad, the coalition “Our Kaliningrad” was created, which included representatives of almost all political parties and movements that are in opposition to “United Russia” - the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, “A Just Russia”, “Patriots of Russia”, “Solidarity” and the local movement "Justice", one of the organizers of mass protest rallies in the city in December 2009 and January 2010. The coordinator of the coalition was the head of Justice, Konstantin Doroshok. The only opposition party not included in the alliance was Right Cause. The head of the local branch of this supposedly liberal Kremlin project and the head of Yantarenergo, the former vice-governor of the Kaliningrad region and Mikhail Tsikel supports the government.

According to Nezavisimaya Gazeta, the goals of the coalition include combating rising taxes and housing and communal services tariffs, lobbying for the provision of preferential multiple-entry Schengen visas to residents of the region and the introduction of a Kaliningrad coefficient modeled on northern surcharges. In addition, “Our Kaliningrad” demands the adoption of a law on the recall of deputies of the regional Duma and the restoration of direct popular elections of the governor. And the current head of the region, Georgy Boos, should be dismissed along with the government.

At the same time, one of the leaders of Solidarity, Boris Nemtsov, while in Washington, emphasized that the opposition should actively support the protests of the population of the Russian regions.
