Today's visit by IAEA head Mohammed ElBaradei is the latest attempt by the world community to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through diplomacy. At the same time, Russian officials continue to stand up for Iran - apparently confident that an Iranian bomb, once in the hands of terrorists, will not fly at them personally. Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Andrei Denisov, said that he sees no reason to apply sanctions against Iran: “There is no evidence of violation of the non-proliferation regime.”
