The anti-fascist carnival, which activists of the youth wing of United Russia planned to hold on March 26, has been postponed to the fall. The official version of the transfer is “problems with transportation and ensuring the safety of participants.” But according to Kommersant, the action was canceled by order from the Presidential Administration, where they decided that Nashi had “overpowered the anti-fascist theme.” And indeed, the zeal with which young United Russia members shout about the rampant fascist sentiments in the country may well cast a shadow on their older comrades.
