On September 3, National Bolsheviks Sergei Baranov and Alexei Makarov were sentenced to five days of administrative arrest for an action in front of the White House, during which they accused Vladimir Putin of the death of hostages in a Beslan school four years ago. The Presnensky court regarded their actions as petty hooliganism.
Baranov and Makarov hung a banner “Putin is the executioner of Beslan!” from the roof of the building opposite the government building. In addition, they lit fires and shouted slogans, calling Putin the executioner of Beslan and a criminal. From the roof they scattered leaflets accusing the then president of the death of hostages at school No. 1 in Beslan on September 3, 2004.
“Who, if not you, citizen Vladimir Putin,” the leaflet says, “gave the order for the assault? Because of whom was the school in Beslan shot down with tanks and grenade launchers? Who did not leave the children a chance to survive for the sake of their image? Why with 1- From September 2nd, for two whole days, there was no official leader of the operation to free the hostages? Where were your subordinates at the time of the terrorist attack - the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB Nurgaliev and Patrushev?" The leaflet ends with the words “we mourn, but we will not remain silent.”
The National Bolsheviks were detained. At first they were in the Presnensky police station, then they were transported to the Presnensky court.
The Code of Administrative Offenses understands administrative arrest as “keeping a violator in conditions of isolation from society.”
In addition, the police detained two National Bolsheviks who were collecting change on the street for Mayor Yuri Luzhkov. The mayor of Moscow won a lawsuit against the leader of the NBP, Eduard Limonov, who accused Luzhkov of controlling all Moscow courts. On August 26, bailiffs seized Limonov’s property, taking from him a number of old books, a mobile phone, a heater, an old camera and two leatherette chairs. Now his supporters have managed to collect several kilograms of change, which they want to give to the mayor. Previously, they called on Moscow residents to bring change to the Griboedov monument.
