Prominent figures of the non-systemic democratic opposition, who were planning to announce the prospects of creating a coalition, were unable to hold a press conference in the buildings of major news agencies. Refusals came from RIA Novosti and Interfax. According to Olga Shorina, press secretary of the Solidarity movement, RIA Novosti cited some technical problems. What the problems were were not explained there. At the same time, Shorina notes that other press conferences planned there were not canceled. It should be recalled that this is not the first time that representatives of the democratic opposition have been prevented from meeting, citing technical faults.

At the moment, it is known that RNDS leader Mikhail Kasyanov, Solidarity representatives Boris Nemtsov and Ilya Yashin, former Duma deputy Vladimir Ryzhkov and businessman Sergei Aleksashenko have expressed their readiness to discuss the prospects for creating a coalition in order to enter the next parliamentary and presidential elections.

As a result, a press conference will take place at the Solidarity office at 14.30. Kasyanov, Nemtsov, Ryzhkov, as well as the leader of the Democratic Choice Vladimir Milov are announced as participants.
