Nadezhda Savchenko: Policy testing
Nadezhda Savchenko called the radio era live when the program “Morning with Matvey Ganapol” was going on there. This call was a sensation. That's what happened.
Ganapolsky : How can I solve the problem of Donbass?
Savchenko : Minsk agreements are good that they stopped a flurry of fire. The first thing I see in the Minsk agreements is to be a political component. It is necessary to convince the neighbor that he acted poorly, not fraternally, as they like to say. And that he needs to leave. Further. I really do not want to clean blood, as Russia did in Chechnya and continues now, Donbass with such methods. I want to find mutual understanding with these people. I know that we will have to learn to forgive. ... not everything is forgiven. But then everything is decided, polished by laws, courts and, as they say, with the highest justice: everyone has their own punishment, and the reward will find every hero. But I do not want to do just a bloody massacre.
Ganapolsky : Three steps that need to be taken so that the Donbass will return?
Savchenko : First. Continue sanctions against Russia, because she still did not understand that she had to leave. Second: to go directly, without Minsk agreements on your own internal connection with the DPR and LPR, without the third and fourth side.
Ganapolsky : Minute, this is sensational. Do you think that direct negotiations between, for example, Poroshenko and Mr. Zakharchenko are possible?
Savchenko : Pan Zakharchenko is not the president, we have only one president of Ukraine, so Pan Zakharchenko and Pan Plotnitsky can be positioned by the powers of people's deputies from the DPR and LPR. The crown will not fall from me. As a People’s Deputy of Ukraine, I am always ready to talk to them.
Ganapolsky : And the third step?
Savchenko : And let's probably smile at each other, and everything will come out.
I did not find the data of fresh Ukrainian polls of public opinion on how the attitude of Ukrainian citizens towards Nadezhda Savchenko changed after these words. Her rating apparently decreased. How much, I do not presume to predict. But the fact that among Ukrainian political journalists and experts a wary attitude towards her in a few hours changed to condemning up to the hostile immediately.
Journalist Viktor Tregubov accuses Savchenko of flagrant incompetence, reports that she “sincerely does not“ beat off the hollow ”, why it is impossible to speak with the terrorists with a legally chosen people's representative. "Holy simplicity."
Journalist Alexander Michelson is convinced that “there will be no politician out of her, because she always says she thinks and thinks simply. The soldier is Soldatovo. "
The journalist Yuri Romanenko is even more categorical: “Savchenko has noble“ shocked ”... A misunderstanding of the situation at the level of kindergarten. Throw the nonsense out of your head that it can save Ukraine. ”
Savchenko received the most thorough rebuke from Vitaly Portnikov, although an experienced publicist did not call the guilty Savchenko by name:
“Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky are not legitimate representatives of the population of Donbass. They are puppets imposed by an invader, and can be replaced at any moment, like their forgotten predecessors. They have no real influence on the liberation of our citizens from the basements. Putin will say - everyone will be fired in 24 hours. He will not say - you can even go to negotiations with the whole Verkhovna Rada - nothing will happen. ”
And then Portnikov explains what politics is and in the aisles of a novice policy of Savchenko, how exactly to take the first steps in this area: “Politics is not conversations in television or radio with visitors to migrant workers, but responsibility, discipline and understanding. Responsibility to the country, discipline in thoughts and actions and understanding of the ongoing processes. And if you really want to help your country, you need to study all this hard. Preferably in decent teachers. And then talk already. ” The end of the quote.
Everything was correctly said by Vitaly Portnikov. He always says everything correctly. Especially about migrant workers. It is a pity, he divorced, did not name all these Shuster, Ganapol and Kiselevy, who instead of going to the labor exchange or sit in prison in Russia, take bread and audience from honest Ukrainian journalists. And it is also a pity that he did not give a list of those decent teachers who should be trained by Nadezhda Savchenko. No, however, already without any irony, I would very much like to look at such a list compiled by Portnikov.
Both Portnikov and other critics, of course, are right. Savchenko’s words about direct negotiations with the leaders of terrorists, who are also the Kremlin puppets, of course, a mistake indicating the absence of political experience. Nadezhda Savchenko is now the most difficult test in his life. She passed the front of the front, water, or rather its absence, during dry hunger strikes in a Russian prison, now passes through the copper pipes of glory and a poisoned field of politics. In the Russian prison, she was harder than at the front. The testing of politics for such a person as Savchenko is a thousand times harder than the test of the Russian prison and the front combined.
Now Nadezhda Savchenko is behaving in Ukrainian politics as an elephant in a bowl shop. Ukrainian experts are horrified by her trip in PACE. Savchenko herself is aware that her political experience is zero and that she needs to learn the art of politics. The question is who and how. It is strongly impossible to imagine Savchenko, quietly sitting in the Rada and obediently voting in accordance with party discipline.
Savchenko’s potential, first of all, her ability to learn quickly, is not known to anyone, including Savchenko herself. How can she cope with her impatience? How much will the monstrous political loneliness be able to overcome, which so clearly manifested after its return to Ukraine? Indeed, with the still high support of the people, she is clearly not ready to become the shadow of one of the Ukrainian politicians, but there is no their team and not quickly create it.
In this impromptu with a call on the air to Ganapolsky, Savchenko violated all political decency. Including, she actually took on presidential functions. She is clearly not ready for the role of one of 450 deputies, but for now her status is precisely. Although public expectations and her own perception of their role do not fit in this status. Will Savchenko be able to eliminate this contradiction between his formal status and real political weight? And will it be able to take on those obligations that are able to fulfill at the moment?
Compared to the expanded field of Russian politics, in Ukraine there is a living and violent political life. But at the same time, a clear shortage of leaders who enjoy the trust of citizens. The appearance on the Ukrainian political stage of Savchenko caused hope not only among Ukrainians, but also by that part of Russians who understand that a successful example of Ukraine is extremely important for Russia, since it will give a powerful argument to opponents of the Putin regime. Therefore, criticizing Savchenko for her mistakes, it makes sense to treat her carefully. It is still useful to Ukraine. Moreover, none of the Ukrainian politicians can boast of special successes yet and there is no intelligible answer, what to do with Donbass, while Putin is in power, no one also has.
