On January 16, the Berezniki City Court will consider the petition of Pusst Riot punk group member Maria Alyokhina to grant a deferment of execution until her five-year-old son reaches 14 years old, reports the SOVA Information and Analytical Center. In this regard, Alekhina was transferred from the Perm colony to the Solikamsk pre-trial detention center.

Let us remind you that the members of the group Pussy Riot were convicted of an action in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy motivated by hatred), Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina received two years of imprisonment in a general regime colony, Ekaterina Samutsevich received two years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of two years. Many experts consider this verdict to be unlawful.
