The cordon around the building was lifted only after local authorities detained two Russian servicemen. Thus, six representatives of the Russian army and intelligence services are now in custody. As Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili stated, the detainees created a spy network operating throughout the country. Yesterday, 11 Georgian citizens were also arrested for criminal connections with the Russian military. The Russian Foreign Ministry denies all accusations and promises to do everything possible to free the Russians.
