Well, what can you say? We could only be proud that Russian hockey is led by a person who, on a weekday, during the main club tournament of Europe, who also takes place in Russia, is able to go to the sauna in the morning and theoretically drink ten bottles of champagne there! Speaking of this, Steblin clearly did not see anything in his words that reprehensible, but even some unusual. It somehow did not occur to him what everyone else immediately thought about-what categories of citizens drink champagne in the morning. In any case, Steblin is clearly not like an aristocrat.
From that moment, the fate was personally resolved. At first, he, as it were, voluntarily left the least significant of his two posts - the head of the professional league. Now the league is led by none other than Mikhail Margelov. But instead of leaving the federation, Steblin calmly went to Turin as part of the delegation and sat there at a public review near President KO VOK of Russia and the head of the Presidential Administration, and, in combination with the head of the Olympic delegation, Kozhin. Such a neighborhood did not embarrass these people as it was not embarrassed, apparently, and champagne in a sauna in the morning. In general, it was both ashamed and ugly, and dangerous - we seemed to tease the sports world, flaunting a victim of psychotropic drugs. But, however, the meaning of hockey life is not to drive the stalk. In the same football, after Koloskov’s departure, there was no more order, nor a mess there was less. It is not a matter of specific people, and the meaning is not in them. The point is that hockey is interesting, successful, victorious at the world level, and massive at the national level, which will not only make it possible to obtain the gold of championships and olympiads, but will also allow you to improve the well-being of physical cultures running with clubs on the pond, or somewhere on the courtyard.
In the meantime, we have a league that proclaimed the second in the world after the NHL, but which has not approached the world standard except salaries. And even then in several teams, including among the strongest and richest, players do not receive money for months, like doctors or miners.
Our clubs play outdated hockey on the well -wilted ice of the most miserable in Europe, Arena, with an inexplicable refereeing. We have a national team that cannot defeat in any way, and at every defeat, children from the NHL are accused of everything, only because they play the ocean and get millions there. In any other sport, this is not left. These stupid conversations have already ceased everywhere that the legionnaires are not patriots, that in the national team they are playing not for the country, but for the image and future contracts that they were baked, and that it is better not to take them into the team. This is a long -standing syndrome of searching for the enemy and pest, because there can be no other explanation of the failure.
Who will come to the stalk to the replace, in general, understandable. Most likely, another notorious politician Pavel Krasheninnikov. And hockey circles publicly welcome this approach. Like, politicians have connections, access to resources. So it was under the USSR that the sports federations were led by astronauts, heroes, and wedding generals. Only then did this still affect anything - the sport lived on state demotrations. Now he should be part of show business.
These are billions of turns, hundreds of thousands of fans in the stands and on the screens, it is a potentially huge advertising market. And all this cannot be manifested in fits and collisions, from case to case. This is a serious, real industry, at least in the West. Is it possible to lead it in between meetings in the Duma, from time to time, between business? Of course not. In practice, this means that the daily work will be done by no means wedding generals and heroes, but unknown clerks.
